Sawsan

In the summer of 2014 IS terrorists attacked the villages and towns of the Yazidis in Iraq, murdering and abducting thousands, especially girls and women. Sawsan was one of them. She was missing for eight years, before her mother was able to bring her to Germany. The story of Sawsan and her family was published in GEO magazine in November 2024.
